Valga Museum is a lively and modern museum where you will never get bored! The photos displayed here show you the history of Valga County and the city from ancient times to the present. The museum is also livened up by models, music and wax figures. Going to the museum is not a waste of time!
Interesting facts: * there is a wax figure of the first Estonian Olympic champion, Alfred Neuland, in the museum.
Valga Museum is focused on collecting, researching, preserving and introducing the historical and cultural materials on Valga county and Valga city, as well as people's habitat in this region. The gallery of Valga Museum is open for art projects that, among other issues, would address the content of Valga Museum and Valga city, as well as the specific character of the whole region (the border area between Estonia and Latvia).
Photos of the gallery and spatial plan are available here:
The final deadline is 30.11.2016.
The proposal should involve the following:
1. Detailed description of the project (with images, if possible)
2. Preferred time/period of the exhibition
3. CV-s and portfolios of participants
4. Contacts (phone, e-mail)
Proposals can be sent to Valga Museum with post (Vabaduse 8, 68204 Valga), brought to the administrator of the museum or sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
