Valga Museum is a lively and modern museum where you will never get bored! The photos displayed here show you the history of Valga County and the city from ancient times to the present. The museum is also livened up by models, music and wax figures. Going to the museum is not a waste of time!
Interesting facts: * there is a wax figure of the first Estonian Olympic champion, Alfred Neuland, in the museum.
Valga Museum is waiting for exhibition proposals for 2022
Valga Museum is focused on collecting, studding, preserving and introducing the historical and cultural heritage in Valga county and Valga town, as well as people's habitat in this region. The gallery of Valga Museum is open for different projects that, among other issues, would address the content of Valga Museum and Valga town, as well as the specific character of the whole region (the border area between Estonia and Latvia).

The final deadline is 6.12.2021
The proposal should involve the following:
1. Detailed description of the project (with images, if possible)
2. Preferred time/period of the exhibition
3. CV-s and portfolios of participants
4. Contacts (phone, e-mail)

Exhibiting in the gallery is rent-free. Entrance to the gallery is based on museum ticket.
