To enhance the spirit of the upcoming Easter holidays, Valga Museum is also making its contribution.
First, we set up three colorful Easter eggs on the green area behind the museum, right at the edge of Säde Park. These were created in collaboration with our good partners from the Latvian Valka Art School.
Valga Museum is organising two Easter decoration workshops, which will take place on April 3 and 10, 2025, both starting at 4 PM. The workshops will be led by the museum's researcher-education manager Karin Varblane, and the working language will be Estonian. However, pre-registration is required to participate.
For primary school students, we will conduct Easter museum classes from April 7 to 11, where we will introduce folk customs and show how to decorate Easter eggs.
Just before the Easter holidays, there is also a school break. From April 14 to 17, the museum will host a series of events called School Break at the Museum, which is also themed around Easter.and other joyful topics.
We wish you a joyful holiday preparation and happy Easter on behalf of Valga Museum.
